  1. Cumulus PS Adapter
  2.  
  3. This is an Acquisition plug-in module for Adobe Photoshop 2.0 and later.
  4. This plug-in is used to open an image file in Photoshop using a Cumulus database.
  5.  
  6. Installation
  7. 1. Copy the plug-in called "Cumulus PS Adapter" into the folder that contains your other acquisition modules for Photoshop.
  8. 2. Start Photoshop.
  9. 3. If the adapter is installed successfully you will see a menu item called "Cumulus…" within the "Acquire" submenu of the "File" menu.

  11. Using the adapter
  12. 1. Select "Cumulus…" from the "Acquire" submenu.
  13. 2. The adapter first looks for a running version of Cumulus or Cumulus•Client. If none of them is running it searches all mounted volumnes for Cumulus or Cumulus•Client and lauches the first found.
  14. 3. Cumulus or Cumulus•Client is brought to front and shows the following window:

  23. 4. Open a database, select a record and click the OK button.
  24. 5. The corresponding image file will be opened by Photoshop.
